Install frontpage extensions iis 6

In the IIS admin I made sure they were both allowed. I'm assuming the server has FrontPage extensions installed on it.
I rebooted and still I find this error when attempting to create a web service. I can still access the site, but when I try to do updates, I get errors. Whatever folder and it said it installed fine. After installation is complete, you can use Server Manager to remove one or more of the optional role services if you do not require the functionality that they provide. I would imagine this will coincide with end of life of the server products. The new server but get the error 'It appears you do not have Front Page Server Extensions installed on the remote server. Any help would be greatly appreciated, because I am Almost done and ready to go live with the new server.
When I go to publish it locally, VS tells me that the server doesn't appear to have frontpage server extensions installed. And FrontPage isnt installed on the same drive as windows vista so i don't know if that has anything to do with it. Sorry guys, Microsoft don't provide much in the line of documentation for installing front page server extensions. One thing i want to ask is why would Visual Studio need Frontpage extension which is an obsolete feature and end of life a few years ago. I have a website that I inherited and I think it uses FrontPage.
